Citlalmina of the Fruitful Vine

Citlalmina made their living selling produce from villages surrounding Thorns into the city proper. Known for their selection of sausages and various pickles, Citlalmina collected the preserved foods from various villages, and was able to make a decent living selling these goods to urban residents in Thorns.

Until the Mask of Winters took over the city.

Citlalmina was outside the city at the time. Separated and lost from their family and friends, Citla, was able to gather a few other refugees to help them flee from the terror affecting Thorns. It was during this time of terror that they were touched by the Unconquered Sun. With the power of their exaltation, Citla was able to lead a small (but increasing) group of refugees to safety, making deals with gods, village leaders and others.

Once free from immediate threat, Citla moved to build connections and allies. In the area of Jiara, they built relationship with the Jiaran rebellion providing preserved foods and mercenaries to protect trade route. Citla had no particular love for the Jiaran rebels, but given the Scarlet Empire failure to protect Thorns they say it as their best opportunity to build a power to retake Thorns. Staring the Fruitful Vine trading company, Citla provided food and caravan protection to the rebelling cities. Working their way into the rebellion’s logistics (if not their direct attacks on House Mnemon), The Fruitful Vine House exists to provide logistics to powers that might be useful to Citla and their attempt to build a coalition to retake Thorns.

Citla would give anything to see the end of the Mask of Winters and the Jiaran rebellion seems to be the most effective tool to deal with him. The Scarlet Empire failed in their duties and Citla will ally with anyone willing to bring the fight to the Shadowlands. It may take a long time, but Citla’s hate is unending.
