Ruby Karat (totally her real name) looks like a VR model who decided to hit the gym, then the tattoo parlor, and then get mauled by a worg. Tall and imposing, with strong long limbs etched with sinuous tattoos that wrap up from her forearms to her shoulders, hiding the numerous old battle scars and injection nodules. Her stark black eyes match her dreadlock black hair that hangs down her back like a horsetail, along with a black war tattoo on her chin. Her face was once gorgeous, but now seems a little chewed up, with claw marks on one side of her skull and a slightly bent nose from a bad break. To add to her general mercenary scuzziness, four teeth knocked out on the right side have been replaced with shiny silver ones.

When on the clock, she jumps into battle unarmored, and seems to rely on some hidden resilience of her own body over the protection afforded by body armor. But she does love her guns big and fancy, and the two heavy guns at her back are jury-rigged with a harpoon and rocket launcher, crude add-ons to the sleek weapons she wields. A titanium-steel axe hangs from one hip, the Zsec brand on the side of the blade hastily scratched off.
