Gail Winters grew up as a normal teenager, mostly. She was always able to predict the weather almost perfectly.  It was incredible hard to sneak up on her and she seemed to know where things were around her without having to look.  But besides those minor differences, she was normal.  She got into computers and became a Web Designer on the side, paying for way through college.  While at college, she got her BS in Computer Science, expanding her web design business to include website optimization.  She loved her job because it allowed her to work whatever hours she wanted, her customers just wanted their websites finished on time.

And then the event happened, a tornado was bearing down on her and her friends she was travelling with.  In desperation she let instinct guide her and she took control of the weather, breaking up the storm powering the tornado and saving her and her friends lives. Since then she has started experimenting with her new found abilities and started thinking about becoming a crime fighter.
