Background
Most who meet him are flabbergasted given his reputation as a hotshot pilot and a lady's man because he is just kind of comes off as acting outside looking in at reality. He has a long list of accomplishments that somehow get forgotten when you meet him because he just seems so odd. This isn't telepathic, it is just a normal reaction to meeting someone so ordinary whose reputation is so extraordinary. He can normally be found strolling around and drinking coffee because ships normally just handle themselves using AI, he is only really needed in an emergency.
