Katsumi is a slender young woman on the tall side of average at about 5'4" with large brown eyes, dark hair worn partly long and partly in a pinned back topknot. She wears purple kimono, wrapped around in a gold sash with much silver jewellery along with a butterfly pendant, an emblem of her family.

Katsumi has a fair complexion and strikingly pretty face that looks adorable when she is angry (it is an extraordinarily bad idea to point this out to her!)
