Keryth Silverbow is a relatively tall and muscular Moon Elf. He grew up in the High Forest in a small elven town hidden deep in the forest near some ancient ruins. He had an early appreciation and learning of the elven gods as his mother is a Priestess of Corellon Larethain.
When he was a yound child the town was attacked and decimated by a Necromancer and his undead army coming to search the ruins for rumoured artifacts. The survivors of the town were rescued by a clan of Wood Elves who held off the attackers long enough for them to escape into the woods.
Most of the survivors stayed with the clan for sometime and Keryth learnt much of his archery and woodland knowledge from them.
With his family they then moved to Evereska, where his mother took up a position with the local temple.

Once of age he joined the militia and became a dedicated scout spending a lot of time roaming the wilds around the city and protecting incoming traders. The city life wasnt for Keryth and after a period he returned to the High Forest and the Wood Elf clan that had previously sheltered them.
Here he learnt more of the woods and surrounds, increasing his ranger and scouting abilities. It was during this time that he rescued his companion Shadow in the Star Mountains. The Mountain Leopard cub had been left for dead by unknown attackers who had killed the mother. She picked up the name Shadow as she rarely leaves Keryths side.

Keryth and Shadow have adventured extensively across the Silver Marchs, the far north and the Dalelands, exploring dungeons and the wilds with an adventuring group. They have also served in the Cormyr and Silvermoon armies as Scouts for a number of years.

Keryth can be quite quiet and withdrawn at times but is a strong and loyal friend to those who have proved themselves. The attack by the Undead when he was young and also a hatred of orcs because of the way they treat the forests has made them both favoured enemies.

His prize possession is the Bow of The Wintermoon, a relic of Corellon Larethain, presented to him by his mother when he became of age.
