Lady Anyalis DeHaviland

THE BASICS

Name: Anyalis (On-ya-Lee) DeHaviland

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Hair: Golden Blonde

Eyes: Green-Blue

General Appearance: In true DeHaviland fashion, Anya features the recognizable 'golden' hair of her family. It is long and falls down her back ending in soft curls, she prefers to leave it down and fashionably adorned rather than pile it on her head. Her eyes are a clear green-blue like her father, framed by dark lashes. Her skin is pale but pretty and her lips are plump and shaded pink and almost always curved into a little knowing smile. She takes after her mother and is tall at 5'7" which doesn't bother her at all, it just means she can see over the heads of some of the other Ladies at court.

HISTORY

Personality: Anyalis is vibrant and clever, she enjoys debating with people and rather than see herself as below a man, she feels she is on par with them. Slightly flirtatious, Anya is friendly and thoughtful of others. She is loyal and caring to close friends and family and stubborn and fiery to those she dislikes. Having come from such a diplomatic family she's rather adept at hiding her feelings when the situation calls for it and she almost always knows exactly what to say. Her father taught her very well, she's a DeHaviland after all.

Sexual Preferences: Heterosexual

House (Major or Minor House): Major House DeHaviland

About Your character: The youngest daughter of Grand Duke Aldéric DeHaviland and Grand Duchess Amalthea DeHaviland, Anya grew up wanting for nothing. Like her siblings, she was provided the best teachers and tutors available. Which was good since she had a rapacious appetite for learning and went through books quickly.
She is close to her mother but closest with her father and takes after him most (in her opinion) both in her inquisitive nature and general outlook and opinion on things.
Her real love is in debate and literature and when she was young, she would beg her father to tell her stories from Court and she delighted in each tale no matter how seemingly dull because there was always something she could learn from it.
Now, Anya is unsure why she has to head to Rosemont, she isn't actively looking for a husband, as she feels she's too young and there's too much she has yet to experience. However, like her siblings of marrying age, she will do as the King commands despite being terribly against it.
