Rusk is a dark haired man who stands six feet in height. Although nominally handsome, his physique is lean, bordering on gaunt. His gray eyes are kind, but generally given to vigilance of his surroundings. He bears a number of prominent scars, one of which divides his left eyebrow. The number ‘121’ is tattooed on the inner side of his right forearm.

His demeanor is quiet, though he can be warm in conversation, even with strangers. He frequently seeks solitude, committing himself to silent prayer and contemplation, the symbol of his patron Helm cradled within his cupped hands during such times. He also devotes much effort to the careful maintenance of his arms and armor.
