Character Description: Chuck has a scholar's build; he is wiry and hunched over, and he gets sick easily so always has a couple of hankies on his person to blow his nose. He saves one clean and never-used cloth in his coat pocket to offer to anyone who might need one. He's hairy. Very hairy. He's so hairy it's caused him trouble in his love life, but you'd never tell because Chuck has such a pleasant demeanor at all times.

Character History: He's been living in Nettle Springs just long enough to know the back streets and to have neighbors wave when he drives by. He owns The Wild Garlic Tavern and is there most nights. Unlike most bosses, his staff never seems to mind his presence. That's because Chuck is very casual and easy with his staff and his business. And why not?

The last bar he owned was in the city, and it was an awful lesson in what not to do with your life. He hated the pressure, the anger, the customers, so he sold the place and moved to the place his parents vacationed in when he was a boy.

He's happy here, and although he's becoming quite comfortable overall, he only feels truly at peace in his bar.


Does your character have something 'special'? If so, what is it?: The Wild Garlic Tavern is an old building in Nettle Springs. The floors creak and the wiring is out of date, but Chuck Rose loves this place so much that it's become a sort of haven from the weird atmosphere in the rest of town. Customers, clients, and staff all feel relaxed and comfortable here.

Chuck doesn't know it, but the bar is as special as he thinks it is. It's like the place is a bubble from the prying eyes and ears of the rest of Nettle
