Mundane Appearance
Tall, thin and pale, with cheekbones so sharp you could cut yourself. She is always impeccably dressed but wears almost no makeup and her hair is generally left to its own devices (which usually means falling about her shoulders in gorgeous locks so thick and lustrous it's enough to make you mad enough to spit). She is always poised and composed, with a serious expression but she always has a knowing smirk and a glint in her eye that indicates this is all just a part she enjoys playing.

Superhero Appearance
When she calls upon the Darkforce Dimension and becomes Tendril, she becomes like a creature of living smoke: dark and roiling and wispy about the edges. Great coils of Darkforce trail in the air around her (which she can use like arms) and her skin turns porcelain white and becomes slightly luminous (especially under moonlight).

Personality
Arlandria really cares about people and she really cares about fairness and justice. And she is fiercely determined to fight for, and uphold, those values. However, she has also spent her whole life some combination of: rich, sheltered,  effortlessly good at everything she tries, socially revered and possessed of nearly infinite magical power. So her version of 'justice' and 'help' can sometimes be very different from other people's.

Background
Arlandria is the current head of the Roivas family, an immensely wealthy and powerful family with deep roots in New England and in the UK. Aside from their wealth, she has also inherited the Roivas legacy of powerful sorcery, which they have used throughout their history to tend their fortune.

Arlandria tends to her family's assets by day, and as Tendril by night, she defends her 'extended' family (basically anyone employed by or related to or living near Roivas interests). She's spent her life doing her best to do some good in her own backyard and not get caught up in anything larger.
