A rough, grizzled man aged well beyond his years, Janus Masterson's scarred face, the way he carries his left arm, and the occasional slight limp in his walk betray difficult times in the last war. Despite clearly spending the coin to keep his fine, gentlemanly attire in fashion and his hair cut evenly, Constable Masterson somehow manages to always appear a bit disheveled and unkempt--as if he wants to present the right airs but simply lacks the energy or dedication to see it through each morning. Beneath the black bangs of his hair and the crisp blue of his irises the dark bags under his eyes add to this image of a man who never slept well enough the night before.
