Lieutenant Kobo Raiev is the newly appointed commanding officer of the Loyalist Military’s SOS program. The Special Operations Squads, designed to take on difficult and sensitive missions to preserve the Monarchy, has been called up prematurely to combat the ongoing rebellion and relies on the leadership and wisdom of its also prematurely promoted Lieutenant.

Though very skilled and very well-versed in combat and command theory, it is rumored that his experience is lacking. The war that hardened many of his brothers and sisters in uniform, somehow didn’t count Kobo among the combatants. Theories as to why are varied and unsubstantiated.

In the face of popular opinion, Lieutenant Kobo still holds his head high. He walks like an officer. Speaks like an officer. Dresses like an officer. And demands the respect of an officer. This is his chance to prove his worth. This is his shot at dispelling the rumors. The SOS will be a major force to be reckoned with if he has anything to say about it. And he does.
