Title: Veteran/Prestidigitator/Rogue
Description/Appearance: Ageon is largely nondescript for an elf.  His choice of clothing tends towards practical and decidedly humanish in style.  This of course is belied by his pointed ears, almond shaped bright eyes, and elven stature.

Though he moves with the grace of his kind, calloused hands and a certain look about him hints that Ageon is not unfamiliar with hard physical labor.  Or the seedier side of town given the club dangling from his belt from a cord in its handle.  The familiarity with which he carries his long sword in its scabbard or  bow and quiver on his back while wearing a reinforced leather jack also tells the tale he is no stranger to violence.

Background:
Born in the small elven community within the Gynarch of Hardby off the Woolly Bay, Ageon is well used to living in human dominated lands.  His parents were merchants who largely traded wine and other elven luxuries using their Olve contacts as far away as Celene or Highfolk & the Vesve Forest in their modest trading network.  Ageon's early life was one of relative comfort in the port town run by a succession of human female autocrats.

That came to end several human lifetimes ago when the Yellow Eye Plague swept the region, taking the lives of many and leaving chaos in its wake.  Both of Ageon's parents perished in the plague, riots, fire, and opportunists finished off the rest of what remained of Ageon's inheritance.  Given his youth and with no surviving family or friends to turn to, Ageon lived on the streets of Hardby.

He learned to survive and eventually thrive as the port town recovered from the dark times.  Ageon sharp elven eyes made him a useful lookout for certain endeavors and he earned his daily bread on Hardby docks making deliveries (of both legal and extralegal nature).  Eventually that turned into thuggery for hire and other services with the gang Ageon fell in with.

That chapter of Ageon's life closed when his gang decided that a small band of adventurer's that had taken up residence in Hardby (largely as a home base as they explored the Cairn hills, Abbor Alz, and the Bright Desert) should be taught a lesson after they refused to pay for protection.  Needless to say it ended badly for the gang and Ageon.

Perhaps it was the begging and promises of service that Ageon's life was spared.  Or some show of mercy that the young elf didn't fully comprehend.  But in any case that is how he found himself in the service to his master, the grey elven wizard Keldreth Scaramanthelon.

After decades of (mostly) loyal service to Keldreth (and his ever changing pantheon of adventuring comrades) as a torch bearer, gopher, drover, menial, and lab assistant, Ageon was caught by complete surprise when the wizard declared his punishment was complete and he was free to go on his way.  His (former) master even presented him with a standard book of spells 'suitable to his meager magical abilities'.  Ageon didn't question his new status and set off in the world to find his own destiny.
