Valkora is a formidable woman in her late twenties who seems mostly human.  The uncanny yellow-slitted eyes, prominent canine teeth, and patches of reptilian scales mark her as a Crimson Warden, an order of itinerant monster hunters known to willingly take on curses and alchemical mutations to gain enhanced abilities at the cost of a portion of humanity.  Many in this modern age view Wardens with suspicion and fear, but will be glad to have one around when fearsome things come knocking.

Standing over six feet in height with a tautly-muscled figure crisscrossed in scars and a severe undercut hairstyle, Valkora cuts an imposing figure.  She is most often garbed in practical, battle-worn armor of leathers and mail designed for mobility, with a high collar and boots to complete the look of a hardened warrior.  She always wears a metal pendant of a braided snake, known to few as the symbol of the Order of the Asp.  A leather baldric secures multiple weapons to her back within easy reach, including a bastard sword with a serpent-head pommel, a crossbow, and a bearded battleaxe.  Scars trace up her sturdy forearms following the patterns of her veins, and the outer edges of a black-inked tattoo can be seen upon the backs of her shoulders and disappearing beneath her armor.

Valkora has a dangerous watchfulness about her, though she is quick to laugh and engage in gallows humor.  While she does enjoy her share of revelry, she will not stand for insults, threats, nor unjust persecution.  Test her patience and feel her bite.
