Corrin was born and raised in the town of Stonewatch. His father is a retired border patrol guard who now owns a small farm. His mother sells backed goods in town. He has an older brother and sister who have both gotten married. His sister works at the town inn while his brother helps his father on the farm.

Corrin grew up hearing tales of the border patrol and stories of the adventures of the King's guard. His father taught him some swordplay and he dreams of joining the town guard, maybe one day even joining the army or becoming a soldier in service to the king.

Corrin is likeable and friendly. He is a bit naive and too trusting. He is not the quickest witted, but he is strong, loyal and dependable.
