Renzo is in his early twenties. He is lean, not overly tall but no runt either. His complexion is dusky, lightly burnished by sun and wind. His eyes are grey, his expression open and frank if not innocent. He has a light beard and mustache and wears his hair short.

He dresses as well as he can afford, stylish though not ornate or flamboyant. His only jewelry is a gold ring and a silver amulet shaped like an open hand. He does have a fondness for silk sashes and feathered caps. He frequently carries a fly whisk so people will know that he doesn't do manual labor. On the street he carries a sword and dagger (and a throwing dagger in his boot).

His voice is melodious and quiet with a slight and intriguing accent. He laughs easily, even if his smile rarely engages his etes. His manner is sometimes sardonic, even mocking. He has a pleasant singing voice and can play a lute reasonably well.

He claims to be the son of Orlando Famiglia and Razzia al Hurra, though his parents were not married. His father's family have given him a room in their house and mid-level duties.

He is literate in both his father's and his mother's languages and is capable in arithmetic suitable for mercantile enterprises though not scientific pursuits.
