Aubree Farwalker

Born on the outskirts of the Rivendell, Aubree Farwalker was a Star Elf, the daughter of a elven baker and an astronomer.  She grew up eating her father's sweet rolls and listening to her mother talk about the stars.  What she didn't know about was the lands outside their beloved forest.  Well educated in elven lore and magic, Aubree still wanted to see more of the outside world, despite her parents' warnings about dangerous creatures and people and foul magics.  She'd grown up reading maps and histories and wanted nothing more than to travel from one end of the world to the other, chronicling her adventures as she went.   There were lost magic to be studied, lost relics to be found, and new people to meet.  Life was truly waiting for her.

Aubree was short for an elf, only about five and a half feet tall, with a slender build as befits her people.  She had a somewhat eclectic wardrobe, dedicated to practicality more than fashion, with a thick jacket over her comfortable tunic and robes.  Several bags and pouches adorned her body, holding travel supplies or souvenirs and samples from her wanderings.  A large notebook was always nearby, ready to be added to.   She carried a large staff, which served as a walking stick and a weapon, depending on the circumstances.

Before she started out on her own, her parents urged her to get more information from others from the outside world.  This was probably meant by them to discourage her, hoping that a local dwarven merchant would complain about sneaky bandits or a passing human hunter would brag about monstrous beasts in the hills, but it had the opposite effect.  Especially when the young elf maiden met the wizard Radagast the Brown, associate of Gandalf the Grey, and friend to peoples, animals, and plants everywhere.  Though his view of the world seemed to have an almost childlike optimism and excitement, Aubree couldn't help but be charmed by him and soon became his apprentice (or, as close to being an apprentice as she could to such a constantly distracted and flaky person).  She spent a few decades studying with him (which, honestly was mostly cleaning up his home or helping him collect mushrooms or other supplies), but she learned a bit about the world and magic.  Soon, however, she felt the need to explore on her own, something that Radagast fully encouraged.
