Kesta is a proud Hyrkanian warrior from the city-state of Makkalet, who rankled under the oppression of the Turanian empire.  Outspoken, and with a sharp temper, she grew frustrated by the tense but stale animosity between her home and the encroaching empire.  When news reached Makkalet that the Aquilonians were actually fighting the Turanians, instead of playing word games, she set out from Makkalet to join the fight.

Kesta has olive skin, with dark brown eyes and straight black hair.  She is lithe and muscular, and she moves quickly and with confidence.  She can be blunt and arrogant, but she laughs readily and is quick to join in any venture, be it battle, hard work, or drink.

As a new member of the Aquilonian Army, Kesta wears standard issue leather armor and wields a plain gladius and a wooden shield.  She also carries a bronze spear and a longbow.
