Eofric

Height: 6'1"
Weight: 180 lbs, average build
Handedness: right
Hair: light brown
Eyes: grey
Age: 30+
Home: Luskan
Background: Mercenary, Red Dragon Trading

A gnarled veteran whose face shows many lines, most but not all of them due to exposure to nature but clearly also from years of scowling, frowning and other expressions of disapproval, Eofric is not a man you become fast friends with.
Add a couple of habits that some might take as offensive and even mere toleration might become almost an effort.
Eofric chews various sorts of herbs that you would rather not swallow, so he spits a lot to get away with most of the juices and rest of plants not worrying too much where the spittle lands.
And Eofric drinks, too much and too hard liquor. Beverages that even the stoutest dwarf might hesitate to quaff.
Seemingly these habits had a detrimental effect on his voice, for it is grating, harsh and unpleasant. Since he does not seem to care much either about what nor how he expresses his opinions, often rather biased, it lands him more often in tavern brawls than not.
Once you get to know Eofric and become something he considers a friend or even just an ally you will realize that a lot is bluster and that he is actually very dependable and that friendship is highly cherished and appreciated.
Eofric is tall and has broad and strong shoulders, iron sinews along his forearms, large powerful hands with a strong grasp and handshake like a vice. Raw physique has long turned into experience and many make the mistake to underestimate him. A fact he knows how to exploit.
Eorfric's equipment has seen years of use and are made for practical purposes not for fancy looks. Quite a few opponents have laughed at his old sword and regretted it a moment later. A sturdy round shield, two handaxes and a dagger of crude orcish design are all placed within easy reach. The chainmail has seen better days and has been repaired many times, making it appear almost shoddy which it clearly is not, though. The helmet sports a broad nose guard.
