Valerian is a bit of an oddball. It's a general coin-flip as to whether people find him attractive or creepy, especially given that his hair seems to naturally be grayish white, supposedly due to his own stress. Though he seems to be quite good at publicly speaking, he has a tendency to ramble as well as a bit of a paranoid streak when it comes to dealing with other people.
