Arunshee Opalmoon

Her story
It had been a warning from her grandmother that one did not name a child for a god, no good could come of it, Of course they were right, since Arunshee, was always a handful, getting into everything and questioning everything. She was never one to leave a subject alone, once she got her hooks into it, she would examine it from all of its angles, enjoying what she was learning. She had what was needed to get her way--and that way was in trouble. Bright, beautiful and cunning.

Her mother tried to take her to the temple to learn right and wrong, what she learned was how to manipulate people. She was taken in by a Priestess of Wee Jas and trained, something she took very quickly and very well. It gave her an outlet for her energy, for her skills and to deal with people and others. It would have been great, and she would have likely rose quickly through the Church. Than, Talingarde changed, where once she could walk down the street and offer a blessing upon the people, she was no longer allowed to worship her goddess, they were told they were to leave or be arrested, they went underground in their worship, and Arunshee who had always been adventurous, and a bit of handful, most expected it from a red-haired daughter, prosecution began to shift her alignment and the girl decided that even if she would die she would have to set this wrong right.

So, Arunshee did what she thought would be the best thing she could do for her goddess. As she figured she would be joining her soon anyways. She walked into the Church of Mirta and said she desired to see the church, to be told of this false god, and that she would like to pray in one of the booths, what she did was set the Chruch on fire. She did expect to survive the fire, the flames rose up and flicked around her, but the fire did not burn her.

The irony of everything was she had been blessed by Mirta, and the spell saved her from the fire. She has spurred the fire, and it did take up half of the church in flames, she delighted in the destruction. Unfortunately, she was caught and not a martyr for her faith as she wished to be. To protect the wrongness of having faith taken from you.

They sent the Inquistor after her, and she was non blase in the whole thing. She held up a hand and told him he didn't need to torture her , unless that was what he liked, she was guilty, she set the place on fire and danced as it burned, she was sent off to Branderscar.
