Molinam is a lover and a fighter.  He always opens warmly and with kind remarks.  However, when his lines are crossed, he becomes a darkly serious opponent (socially or physically as appropriate).  He is quick to accept apologies and let go of water under the bridge.  His loves farm and field, and dislikes the cramped clustering (and frequent corruption) of cities.  He encourages free thought, self-development and care for neighbor and property.  He absolutely opposes oppression and petty viciousness will set him off like few other things.

Molinam:

Deiron, Molinam's Faithful Mount

History

Molinam was the bastard child of the noble House  Vistian of Baldur's Gate.  He was acknowledged and raised as the heir to the house until at age 13, his younger brother Geoff was born.  He was then out out of the house with a small stipend and was made to vow never to return.  Molinam, embracing his natural gifts, his training as a yong noble, and his strong sense of justice, joined the church of Helm as a paladin in training.  He missed his home but was happy to keep the peace and serve the people in another way.

Molinam served the church of Helm throughout the Sword Coast for over a decade, when Geoff inherited and took full control of the family estates and businesses.  Molinam would have had no problem, except that Geoff's spoiled nature and jealousy of Molinam's popularity with the people led him to the cruel persecution of everyone Molinam had been close to.  Molinam broke his vow never to return home and challenged Geoff for the control of the house.  Loss followed loss as Molinam was excommunicated from the church of Helm for oathbreaking, and forsaken by his god in his hour of need, Molinam was roundly drubbed by his younger sibling in both social circles and the ring of physical combat.

Humiliated, Molinam left to wander the realms, now dubbed Molinam Oathbreaker.  He worked as a discount sellsword for the oppressed poor, who couldn't afford better.  He continued this for a number of years, making war against bandits and would-be tyrants into an art form.  Several years ago, he fought off raiders from a small field-shrine of Chauntea.  He hadn't been hired, but couldn't abide the small offerings from poor farmers being stolen by well-fed beasts.

The goddess appeared to Molinam as he lay bleeding to death in front of the humble shrine.  She offered to heal him, as well as a place of honor among her people for his long and faithful service to her and them.  He accepted and soon found himself being hailed as Molinam Trueheart.  Still a servant of Chauntea, he has been working with the Company of the Celestial Star for some time now, using his free time to continue wandering the broader Realms to watch out for the weak.
