Most look at Kella as a barbarian with her tattoos and axe and at one time she might have been if fate had not brought her to the attention of a mercenary company.  She was seven summers old when The Golden Lions came upon a ruined village still running red with blood and spiraling smoke.  She helped them bury her family and friends then rode pillion until they went to winter headquarters.  Kella grew much as her northern kin, tall and strong and proud.  She grew and trained into her father's axe, Kellmore, and wields it now in his honor.
