Name: Boatswain's Mate Second Class Richard E. Deal

History:  One of the only 3 people who survived the crash of the Akron, a helium-filled airship for the Navy.  Akron crashed in April of 1933, rescued by a german ship, he was given 'extended' leave before deciding whether to return to sea or not.

Deal is a big man, from his work on ships as well as the airship.  He tends to be a bit 'rough and tumble' with people, punching friends in the shoulder and punching irritating people in the face.  His face is rough, weather-beaten but direct and not ugly.

Dark black hair, short-cut, bright green eyes.  Big hands that have many callouses.

Deal speaks his mind, and has a 'if you don't like what I say, shut me up.' attitude.  He's been around the world, is knowledgable about airships, steam engines, working on large ships and has done a sailing vessel in his younger years.  Sailing is his life, but the last experience being dropped out of the sky into the cold Atlantic ocean has him wondering if there are other places where his skills may be worth a livelihood.
