Churisan is a young (only 26 years old) veteran, a former sergeant of archers and engineers in the noble Legion of Serqu. He belongs to the High Pinnacle clan, a respectable clan, with no particular temple affiliations, of relatively low status among the high clans. He's somewhat tall, lean, and moderately handsome. He wears light chlen-hide armor, and is a good shot with his composite bow. When the expedition started he became the de facto leader, ordering the bearers and guards, but that seems to have changed. At rest he is sometimes moody and not always careful of rank and status.

Churisan apparently served in the ill-fated Livyanu invasion, and has since worked for his clan as an engineer and construction manager. He traveled to various clan-holdings to oversee various building projects (with sustained breaks for hunting or gambling).
