Master locksmith of the Dark Fear clan, raised in the jewel of the empire, Purdimal.  Most others would consider it to be a festering wasteland of swamps and things better not imagined, but Ssrivan proudly calls it home.  He is well known for the devious traps he devises to foil tomb robbers and he is a somewhat devout follower of Ksarul.  He is highly introspective, rarely paying proper attention to the niceties of rank or position.
