Priest Benedictus de Rooij was a jailer for the city for several years until he turned the Verenian Cult. He is known to still socialize with many of the Black Caps and members of the Litigents Guild. When he is heavy into the drink he becomes foul mouthed and surly like any member of the Black Caps past or present.
