History synopsis: Al has been fascinated with Pokemon for as long as he can remember. Unlike Trainers, however, Al doesn't like the idea of putting Pokemon at risk by sending them into combat, so Al has chosen the path of a Professor instead. He's reached a point in his studies where he's learned all he can from books and computer files. At the start of his adventuring career in this campaign, Al has applied for, and received, a grant to investigate the Crystal Depths of Paradise City.
