Dwarflord

Codename: Dwarflord

Name: John Dwarfstar  (real name is Adrian Inman, but he doesn't know that)
Age: Unknown  (23 years)
Gender: Male. Very definitely male.

Hair: John has chestnut brown hair, worn in a mullet, with some 6 inches of beard
(sometimes more) hanging off his face. Sometimes he dyes his hair, beard, and
eyebrows in day-glo bright colors, but not very often.

Appearance: Short, squat, and having unusually short arms and legs for his size, John clearly suffers from dwarfism, most likely pseudo-achondroplasia. At 3 feet, 5 inches tall, he's at a clear disadvantage compared to a normal-sized adult in many situations. His complexion is fair, and he has brown eyes. He has no obvious scars or birthmarks, nor does he have fingerprints (the pattern changes constantly as he regenerates).

Background:
Found wandering the streets in the western outskirts of Galaxy City 11 months ago, an as yet unidentified little person in clown makeup and a cowboy costume was brought in to the police. With no knowledge of who he was, where he was from, or identification on him, the dwarf was cleaned up and placed in a temporary work assignment with minimum security prisoners, doing basic hard labor until someone could find out either who he was, or come up with an alternate job for him besides being a clown. At roughly the same time, a paramedic named Adrian Inman became listed as a missing person. No one associated the two events with each other.

John, as he came to be called, didn't seem to have much in the way of useful skills, other than speaking three languages and knowing first aid. Until some of the prisoners in the road crew started complaining that he got better rations than they did. At first this made no sense to their supervisor; everybody got the same, including himself and the guards. But the evidence the prisoners had was clear; somehow the freak was getting his hands on flavorful, high-quality meals, rather than mass produced bland stuff. To their surprise, John was conjuring the food out of thin air when meal breaks came. Bowls of odd soups, mostly. And he was quite willing to share.

With investigation, and tutoring forced upon him, John was taught to use his odd ability to feed people. With the discovery that he could grow plants as well, a power considered to be valid for heroic uses, his social worker made arrangements for John to become a superhero. Even if he didn't know the first thing about the job.
