Caleigh met her husband in college, attracted to both his looks and his zeal for God. When he confided that he felt called to ministry, she was unsurprised and didn't hesitate to pledge her support. She knew being a pastor's wife would be tough, but she felt God would help her rise to the challenge.

They were married soon after college and the next decade led them to three different states. In 2015, they settled in Kenosha, WI. Feeling they might be there for a while, they decided to focus on building a family, a task that was thwarted when Caleigh was first unable to get pregnant and then suffered a miscarriage. After multiple exams, tests, and doctors weren't able to sufficiently explain their difficulty or provide any hope, the couple officially gave up.For the last year, Caleigh has poured herself into work within their church, hoping to the void in her life with other things pleasing to God.

Recently, Caleigh's heartache has begun to go away. As a result, she's begun looking into adoption. Perhaps God had closed her womb so that she could be a mother to another woman's child.
