A good friend of Josh's, Melissa is a shy but friendly young woman who is majoring in Theater Design, specializing in Costumes and Set Design.  She longs to be in front of the camera, but gets crippling stage fright.
Her fantasy is also to 'create' a new star from scratch, making an unknown nobody into the toast of Broadway.
