Ensign Antonin Stolyarev has close dark brown eyes and close cropped brown hair.  His face is classic slavic, squarish with high cheek bones.  He stands 185 cm (6'-1") tall and is built like a bear.  His appearance is just on the acceptable side of unkempt.  He wears a simple cross pendant with three bars, the lowest being at an angle rather than horizontal.

Antonin enjoys a good time, especially if alcohol is involved.  He is quick to anger and just as quick to forget.  A good fight is just another good time.

Stolyarev is a former Naval Infantry soldier, the Russian equivalent of the Marines.  With the new era of peace and cooperation, imposed by the “Angelyi,” there wasn't a whole lot of action going on.  Stolyarev transferred to Naval Aviation.  The future of military aviation was obviously in space and Stolyarev showed an aptitude for piloting.  Unfortunately he was a bit larger than the optimum for a fighter cockpit.  Though offered a slot in the helmsmanship training program, but he turned it down  to fly shuttles.  They were going to war against the “Demonyi” and sooner ort later that would come down to planetary assaults.  And that meant assault shuttles and the Naval Infantry.
