Marcos Carita is a young man of obvious Hispanic heritage. He has a very strong connection to his parents Mexican heritage, as he is the first-generation American in the family, and most of his extended family is in Nogales. For most of his youth he had long, curly black hair. However, a few effective demonstrations from his boxing coach showed him the error of such an easily grasped hairdo. As such, he cuts his hair short, but has enough vanity to give it some style and flair. Marcos sometimes dyes it as the mood strikes him. His usual choice of attire is the typical American teen uniform: jeans and a T-shirt. However, due to the emergence of his mutant abilities, he will often wear sturdy running gear if he knows he is going to be using his powers a lot that day.

While not the biggest man you will ever meet, it is clear that Marcos has muscles beneath his simple street clothes. Akin to that of a professional runner or boxer. But the most remarkable thing about him is the way that he moves. Marcos has a grace about him that would shame most. He moves more like a jungle cat than a young American chicano. Even those not in the super-powered scene can see this, though they do not know what it means. It is simply a result of how fast his mind works. When every step at normal speed seems to take minutes or hours, it will always be a well considered movement. Marcos also always carries around either a water bottle, or other liquid container on his person, as well as a heavy impact resistant smart phone. These are as constant as his sensible shoes.
