To a casual observer it would be hard to discern that Hayato is a dragon blood, appearing an almost normal mortal in his late twenties. Hayato is handsome but bears the rugged face of a man who spends a lot of time in the wilderness; he is just slightly taller than average, moderately built and his hair is a dark  oak brown. Closer inspection reveals his true nature, his skin has a very subtle green hue and his eyes are a deep emerald.

Of course when he chooses to, he can look very much the Lookshy noble that he is, adorned in expensive formal attire or elegantly crafted dragon armor. In combat he weilds a power bow with impressive skill, but is also a master of the sword and spear.

By far the most striking thing about Hayato is his companion, Daisuke. Daisuke is a large iron grey Dire wolf, about the size of a war horse and significantly more intimidating. Appearances are deceptive however, Daisuke is usually temperate and quiet, traits trained through years of scouting and stalking. The two are rarely separated, only in locations ill-suited to Daisuke's size, or in the most formal of situations, will Daisuke not be at Hayato's side. In intense combat, Daisuke wears lamellar barding specially crafted for him by some of Lookshy's best armor smiths.

In combat or for long distance travel, Daisuke serves as Hayato's steed. Hayato's 'horse'manship is legendary and together the two of them can achieve feats seemingly impossible even to other dragon blooded.
