The United Mercenary Fleet (Known commonly as the UMF) was the most powerful mercenary organization in human space. At their height, they could call together a fleet that would give the Earth’s military pause. But that, like so many other things, was before the war. By the end of the war the UMF’s base was destroyed, nearly all of its capital ships destroyed, and the remaining high-ranking members  dead or scattered. One of those leaders, known as Prophet Brian, has slowly begun gathering the shattered fleets back together.

Prophet Brian’s original fleet was know as “Quick Strike” and was comprised of a dozen high tech frigates, at least half armed with spinal beam mounts, that specialized in hitting hard and fast, and retreating before an organized response could be launched. It is unknown how many of his original fleet survived, but at least seven of his frigates have been confirmed destroyed. Reports indicated that his current fleet contains a handful of frigates, and a single large support ship that the UMF used as a mobile base, which has been renamed “Phoenix.”

Prophet Brian has spent the time following the war gathering together former allies, escorting civilian ships between system, and hunting down pirates. Though for the last month his forces have not been seen.
