Leah Walker

Name: Leah Joanna Walker
Age: 26
Height: 5’2”
Weight: 120lbs

Appearance: From the time that Leah was born, she was deemed a “pixie” because of her small stature and large eyes. It truly was a miracle that she got the name “Leah” and that her parents didn’t name her “Fairy girl.” She only comes to 5 feet, 2 inches and barely weighs 120 pounds, sopping wet. She’s tiny, but slightly muscular having grown up trying to keep up behind her big brother and father. Her big, bright baby blue eyes are extremely expressive and show exactly what she is thinking, no matter what. She’s happy? They light up. Sad? They darken. Angry? Step back, because fire is more than likely shooting from them. Long, dark chocolate hair envelops a heart shaped face that normally sports a wide grin.  She would appear to be a typical girl next door if it weren’t for her fashion since. Blazers, tank tops, skinny jeans and combat boots is what this girl likes to sport.

Personality: Leah is fiercely intelligent and before the world went to hell, she was studying to be a surgeon. She is opinionated, never hesitating to let people know what's on her mind. She is also very sweet. Caring and kind, she always tries to put the needs of the many before her own. She likes to help and isn't the type to be able to walk away when she sees her fellow man in peril. Leah's mouth often times gets her into trouble. She speaks too freely and wears her heart on her sleeve, so she cannot lie to save her life. She's too trusting and believes there's good in everyone.

Occupation: Premed student/Bartender

Background: Leah Joanna Walker was the youngest child born to Mary Ellen and Steven Walker. Growing up, she played the part of annoying little sister well, always tagging along with big brother, Ethan, and her father when they went hunting and fishing. Ethan did not like the fact that she always imposed on father/son time, but Steven never seemed to mind. Leah was daddy’s little girl, through and through. All she had to do was bat her long eyelashes and he was putty in her hands. He taught her how to use a gun, since a woman just had to protect herself in today’s world and just like big brother, Ethan, she received a conceal carry license when she was of age. She loved shooting and often times spent time at the gun range to hone her skills. It’s been argued that she’s a much better shot than Ethan, but we’ll leave that competition for another day.

At eighteen, Leah left home to go to college. She studied in Denver, hopping around from major to major until she finally decided that she wanted to help people around her. She joined premed, looking to become a surgeon, and hasn’t looked back since. She developed a new life in Denver, taking a job as a bartender and studying when she’s not at work. She visited her parents on the weekends and was dating a new boy who made promises to marry her.

Then, the world went straight to hell in a handbasket. Her boyfriend died, shot by the military why they were trying to escape the city. She tried to get back to her parents in their small town, but upon reaching them, she discovered that they were both deceased. She packed up as many of her father’s weapons as she could find and took off in search of big brother, Ethan. She’s jumped from group to group since, hoping that she and Ethan would cross paths.
