Namika was attending Fort Lewis College in Durango when the world went crazy. During her attempts to get home to her family, she ended up in a safe zone in Holmont, CO. She never made it home. However, when the safe zone was overrun, she ended up in the resort in Snow Springs where she was reunited with her little sister, Ululani (who'd been studying Chemistry at Colorado State in Denver), and her parents. Her youngest siblings, twins Wardine and Audric, were lost early in the chaos. The family has not heard from her older sister, Samantha, who was attending an ag school in Kansas and is feared dead. Namika has done her best to adapt to life in Snow Springs where her Technical Theater studies have translated into a job with maintenance.
