Leader: Tolith Olalar, Lord of the Hunt
Ages ago Tolith was an elven druid until an incident left him cursed with vampirism. Tolith discovered that the transformation heightened his animal instinct. Shunned by his former companions he escaped into the wilderness. For centuries he slowly worked on his ideal society where the strong ruled. Over time he recruited others to his cause and his allies were granted his boon of vampirism. When the Southlands were discovered he arranged for his followers to be delivered so that they could found their own nation away from the persecution they faced in the older kingdoms.

Nation: Luna Doreith
The elven nation of Luna Doreith is a civilization which emphasizes the idea of "weak serve the strong". Whether it be through might, magic, or stealth every citizen is expected to continuously strive to strengthen oneself. Those who fail are found weak and are expected to serve beneath their superiors, with the weakest sometimes being fed to the vampire elite. Those who prove themselves capable enough earn the right to join the upper echelons of society as a vampire spawn, seen by those in the country as the apex predator. Ruling the country is Tolith himself along with others he has converted to be a full vampire.

As for religion the people are taught to live in balance with nature. Animals who hunt at night such as owls, bats, and leopards serve as symbols of the ferocity of the wilderness with vampires being at the top of the food chain. Most elves in Luna Doreith believe in the natural cycle of life, although they differ on view of undeath. It is their belief that sentient undeath is simply the final part of that cycle, one that only the strong earn the right to become.

Towns and villages in Luna Doreith are usually hidden among the treetops or built into caverns found in the forests. Regardless the treetops are usually magically grown to create an almost solid canopy that blocks most of the light from reaching beneath for the sake of the vampiric portion of the population. In these dark parts of the forest bioluminescent fungus is common for those who still need light to see. The entire nation of Luna Doreith is nocturnal with only a small portion of the population serving during the day, usually to deal with traders and other outsiders.
