Small (even by Rokugani standards) and idealistic, Michi does not wear any sort of Clan or Family symbol, choosing instead to bear neutral "Imperial" colors and designs. The only exception is the Alexandrite Crow, the symbol of her Championship over, which she wears over both of her shoulders, and a tiny Isawa Shugenja School Mon on her right arm that bears witness to the strength of her training.

She bears a blade with her at all times which she crafted herself, the legendary Dainichiken, though it is typically carried on her back and wrapped in silk in deference to the Bushi assigned to guard her.

Michi still considers herself to be "nothing but a humble monk", though the true import of her position is only now coming to her. She is still somewhat out of place in courtly settings, though the purity of her intentions are usually quite obvious.
