Oliver, better known as Noll, is a seemingly young man of English descent. His blonde hair complements his pale complexion and make his blue eyes stand out more. He tends to keep a little scruff on his face, which is the only thing about him that seems rough. Wheezing and coughing as he does, Noll tends not to get out and about much. He prefers to work in his alchemical lab or bury himself in his books anyway. And this helps keep his complexion as pale as it can be. Noll tends to dress in fine clothing. Even his laboratory clothing is nicer than it should be, but he does keep that clothing separate from the rest so as not to stain all of his finery.

Although he doesn't get out a lot, Noll has a way with people. He is quite charming, and he seems to be able to communicate casually with all levels of society. He is similarly gifted at teaching, perhaps even more so. That he is so interested in learning makes him a strong academic while also ingratiating himself to others as he is genuinely interested in what they share with him.

At the covenant Noll is an important figure, being both the resident academic as well as an alchemist. He is the one to do much of the original training of the apprentices despite not being able to open their Arts and not being able to teach the Arts. Not only is he more than capable at the academic subjects, he is well-versed in Magic Theory, which allows him to both teach it and work on laboratories. He is also the half brother to Iseult, and their devotion to each other helps form a core bond at the covenant.
