Background: Edward was raised by his divorced father along with his older sister. The two children fought over trivial things day till night, Edward would always end up on the floor crying. From childhood to adulthood, Edward found himself covered in bruises from being used as target practice for his sister's karate training, until her father send her off to a boarding school which ultimately stopped the fighting in the house. Edward was involved in numerous reports of childish pranks, inappropriate behaviors, and bullying other students at school. It wasn't an immediately concern for the loving father, he figured Edward will eventually grow up and stop the immature acts. The father was proven wrong by a series of more serious reports from the police. Out of patience, he sent his son to a military school hoped to discipline the little brat. Edward later signed himself to the military. Before the infection begin, Edward was satisfied with his current state of life until that day at the post, where it all ended... or begin. No news from his old man ever since that day. As for his sister, he would like to believe that somewhere, some poor walker are subjected to a brutal round of karate beating.

Appearance: Edward possess a healthy and strong lightly tanned body thanks to the training in the military. Edward wears his old cap to cover his short, messy dark brown hair. He has a pair of thick eyebrows with soft blue eyes that gives off a friendly vibe above his light, short beard. To some, his appearance may be come off a tad bit younger than his actual age.

SEASON TWO APPEARANCE CHANGES - Trimmed stubble, short hair.

Personality: He enjoys the company of others, and prefers to travel in a large group rather than alone. However, alone time is sometimes what he needs when he feels the overwhelming stress in this new world. Never cared much for argument about right or wrong, Edward involves himself in "chatters around the warm campfire," and keeps a safe distance when shitstorm hits between people. He gives out counselling advice while lending an ear for the green ones or his friends back in the military. He rarely express his feeling or opinions, most of the time he kept them to himself. To get him talking, all you need is a good bottle of wine or whiskey, he'll tell you everything you wanted to know, and everything you wish you haven't heard. Not a fan of cats.

From recent development of events, this distrust between him and the civilians festered deeply. His initial friendliness and warm hospitality for the civilians had long faded. It only took a child to be shot in the head, blinded for life for him to realize his mistakes. He had sworn since then to never let his guard down among them. Their betrayal will never be forgotten. Every living moment he will remember the consequences of his naivety.
