Doris Artz is one of the Elders Gangrel. He dresses in old and heavy peasant clothes. He was embraced as an old man. Doris lives in the Grunewald forest and he is one of the main representatives of the community of creatures that inhabit the area. He has contacts with the Kindred (the Gangrel and the Ravnos), with the Garou and with the gypsies. Over the years,  whenever tensions between the community and the Kindred of the city occurred, Artz has been able to find an effective compromises with Wilhelm. Recently, he chose to stay isolated in the forest and far from the city, leaving to the younger Gangrel the task of enstabilish direct communication with the city. Artz's face is wrinkled by time. He seems someone who has build a well-structured and clear world view through countless experiences. Nothing more seems capable of impressing him. Slow in his movements, and very reflective in his thoughts, Artz is the wise voice of the Gengrel clan.
