Jendell in not a sight you commonly see, a Female Bard of Khalistean decent.  If asked for her story, and Jendell loves a story, she will tell a story of High court, nobles, intrigue and affairs of the heart.  She will give the impression that she was suspected of having an affair with her patrons paramour and rather than put herself her patron and her family in an untenable position she hopped the first ship off the isle.  That ship happened to be largely filled by a mercenary company headed to Belegrim.  Finding her skills useful in keeping the troops calm, distracted and entertained on the dangerous voyage earned her the respect and friendship of everyone in the Company.  Upon reaching Belegrim she traveled awhile with her new friends before the desire to explore more of the isle called to her.  So if you ask this is the tail she will tell....at least this is the tale she is telling at this time.
