Michelle, called “Chelle” by most, looks young for her age. She’s approaching her thirties, but she appears to be in her early to mid-twenties, with pale, nearly translucent skin and almond shaped, dark green eyes that are always watching intently. She’s exotic looking, like most of the girls from the countryside, with dark, wavy hair that brushes her shoulder blades and a lithe, athletic figure showing her background as a shepherd girl growing up. Chelle grew up in a small village, working on her father’s sheep farm in an otherwise, poor community.  It was just her and her father growing up – her mother had died in childbirth giving birth to Chelle – and she grew used to spending most of her time alone in the fields.

A few years ago, Chelle’s village was attacked by a group known as the “Shadow Walkers.” Their intent was to take all the people of the village on as slaves, but it became clear that the people were immune to the power that the vampires held. Frustrated and hungry, the Shadow Walkers attacked, leaving rivers of blood throughout the countryside. Chelle, who was in the fields near the mountains when it happened, was able to escape through a pass, but not before being attacked by one of the vampires. Able to escape, she wandered until she was able to come across the Zimmerman brothers and Jen, who managed to teach her their language after months of trying. Owing them her life, Chelle travels with them, though she still doesn’t do much to communicate. She doubts she’ll ever be much of a talker again.
