Young, slightly naive and full of energy would be the main things to notice about Lorena. Her jobs as a journalist is obviously her greatest passion, and while it has shown her some of the darker sides of society, the young woman's focus on the positive shines through. Lorena loves the underdog as she relates herself to them and by writing mainly those stories, she has kept her naivety intact without being completely aware of the fact. She considers herself a smart and critical thinker, but it may be the Italian upbringing blinding her to her true self. She has the dark curls and brown eyes to go with her Italian heritage, undermining her efforts to assimilate/look like a standard American.
