 A once somewhat fractious polities divided along regional and class lines, the new Silver Republic  has emerged after  a significant epidemic & internal strife born in part from the Long War to present a new face to its Federation partners. With a somewhat innovative parliamentary style government that incorporates the traditional ducal nobility that has roots to the nation’s founding with equal representation from the other classes,  both of whom are determined as much by passing rigorous testing as  being selected by popular vote, the Silver Republic has far more qualified leadership than it did in times past. With a robust marshal attitude towards life and labor, complemented by a strong since of national identity – even if there are just as many cultural differences within the dukedoms as there are similarities — they have every intention of taking full advantage of the new infrastructural benefits provided to them by the Federation to move their abundance of natural resources, to leverage both policies & market.   By first asserting themselves as a considerable regional support to their neighbors, especially the Rafiki Brotherhood, the republic continuously seeks ways to incorporate their rich heritage — strong ethical values that incorporate a bit of archaic chivalry, knowledge being gained from their Federation neighbors, their diversity, and abundant resources — into services & technologies that will allow them to stand shoulder to shoulder with their neighbors.
