Aran Brightwood stands at roughly six feet in height, appearing to weigh anywhere from 200 to 210 pounds.  His splint mail conceals a heavily muscled frame forged under the weight of sword, shield, and armor.  He carries a longsword with the ease of long familiarity, and a shield bearing the image of a rising sun.  That same image is engraved in a heavy golden amulet hanging around his neck.  Aran's armament is accented primarily with shades of rose, gold, and an occasional trace of violet.  His black hair is kept closely cropped, and warm blue eyes greet any and all who cross paths with him.
