Joining the NSA as a data analyst straight out of college, Zari has spent her life coordinating with the FBI to understand the threat that vigilantes, especially those with advanced technology, pose to the United States of America.  Specifically she searched for any proof that vigilantes were being funded by terrorists looking to undermine the role of the police and engender a constant hatred and fear of the proper authorities, denigrating their role in society and otherwise encouraging anarchy.

As part of her training, Hasan has learned to use a variety of weapons.  While she is rarely dispatched to the field, Zari has kept up her firearms training and is particularly adept with the sniper rifle.

She has recently been transferred to liaison with the FBI about potential technological advancements in the vigilante field.
