Bronn Moonspear is a tall, broad Neveren, with long, reddish-yellow hair, with a full waterfall of a beard and thick mustache, and silvery grey eyes. He bears a shield embossed with the holy symbol of Selûne: a pair of female eyes surrounded by seven silver stars.
Bronn was born to a family of Northlanders under the light of the full moon. He contracted a terrible disease in early infancy. His parents petitioned Selûne that if she would but spare him, he would be devoted to her service. And indeed he was spared. After his mother weaned him, he was given to the service of the temple of Selûne in Neverwinter. He was raised by the clergy there and trained to be a priest when he came of age.

Once formally ordained a servant of Selûne, he began his journey, tasked with taking the healing power of Moonmaiden wherever the winds of change took him. He boarded a merchant vessel, and ended up becoming the ship chaplain for a number of years.
