Appearance: Through facial features and skin tone, it is quite obvious that Zhao Jia is an Asian woman. She stands at about 5'2" and looks to weigh in the vicinity of 110 pounds. She has expressive brown eyes, and her dark brown, nearly black, hair is coarse, straight, and cut short. She has small, non-protruding and nearly flat breasts, and her hips are narrow, rather than curvaceous. While she has a petite build, she appears to be very toned and obviously works out. She has no piercings. A tattoo of a black Chinese dragon that covers her right shoulder blade is usually not visible. When wearing shorts, a prominent dark brown birthmark that covers the majority of the back of her left knee and seemingly bleeds around each side of her leg toward her kneecap can be seen.

Zhao Jia wears contacts more often than not, but has been seen wearing small, wire, oval rimmed glasses on occasion. When working in the spa, she wears a uniform that usually consists of pristine white shorts or slacks, a similarly colored tank top with The Bound logo over the left breast, a navy blue lady's jacket with The Bound logo over the left breast and a name tag reading Jia over the right breast, white ankle socks, and white canvas shoes. Personality: Zhao Jia presents herself as a happy go lucky individual. She's friendly, smiles often, and has proven to be a very good listener for her clients who always seem to want to off-load the world's cares upon her as she services them. She rarely gives advice, which is often welcomed by those used to being the adviser in their dealings. She's a good friend to those who consider her so. She helps out when able, and rarely asks for anything in return. While somewhat quiet, she would be considered much more extroverted than introverted. She's just Zhao Jia, and seems to realize people are going to accept her or not for that, while not really seeming to worry about it.

History: Zhao Jia was born in Tianjin, China. She immigrated to Los Angelas, CA with her parents when she was eleven. She was raised in the public school system, and helped in her family's reputable massage business as a cleaner when not at school. When she was 18, her parents were both killed during a botched robbery while she was out. She had graduated from high school and already had decided to continue helping her family's business by enrolling in massage courses at the time of their untimely deaths. She missed them dearly, but could not escape their ghosts she saw everywhere in the shop. So, she sold the business to a business associate and used the proceeds to move to Hawaii to continue pursuing courses, but away from her past.

She attended a trade school of sorts in Honolulu where she learned a plethora of massage techniques. It is fairly rare for a massage therapist to know more than one or two styles of massage, and Zhao Jia is licensed in six modalities, and has knowledge of others that she is not licensed in but can practice in a place the likes of The Bound. She heard rumors of The Bound through grapevine chit chat mostly, and applied to work in the spa there. With her attractive exotic look, knowing Mandarin and English, and licensing, she was a shoe-in for hire. She's been at The Bound for six months and lives in staff housing at the hotel.
